BEHEMOTH the primeval great beast, large and powerful. In essence, the BEHEMOTH is an interpretation of the Russian variants of a well know four transistor sustainer. Not completely ‘civil, ‘green’ nor ‘black’ in its voicing, but taking the best from all with more versatility for the modern player. Thunderous, all encompassing low-end. Just the right amount of smoothness and grainy grit. Like the original units, NOS Soviet KT3102 silicon transistors and KD522 diodes have been deployed. But, unlike the originals, no expense has been spared in the construction…high quality, tight tolerance, components for quiet and reliable operation.

A collaboration with A.L.N. of Mizmor - The goal was to create the ultimate Mizmor four transistor sustainer. Big and heavy, thick and doomy with all the clarity needed. A.L.N.s preferred distortion was reverse engineered, cutting out all the unnecessary circuitry and emphasizing what makes it special and pushing the gain into insane levels. A carefully selected transistor set has been biased for a pronounced bite and an added presence control adds a bit of versatility. Finally all encased in artwork by A.L.N. himself.…for that blackened doom sound with quality components and attention to detail, this might just be the perfect device.
